The Community Development Committee needs you!

The committee has the enjoyable task of working to create, maintain and grow Karma Co-op community connections, both within and beyond Karma Co-op. We are starting up again and need new members. Get in touch with Libbie Mills, the Community Development Committee’s Board Liaison, if you are interested: libbie.mills@utoronto.ca.

Nominations for the 2021-22 Board of Directors open now

If you would like to contribute to Karma and have at least 6 hours per month to dedicate, you are invited to reach out to our current Board to learn more and/or attend a board meeting. Contact board@karmacoop.org

Do you have financial skills to help Karma streamline its systems?

This year, the board is interested in finding one of two people with a financial management background (CPA) to help us review our financial systems and recommend updates for a more streamlined approach that will support timely financial reporting. Contact board@karmacoop.org

Two Committees starting up and looking for skilled members!

The Marketing Committee is looking for marketing and communications specialists to help us build our local profile with social channel engagement and strategic communications.  In September, the 50th Anniversary Party Committee will be hosting a quick 45-minute planning meeting to begin the planning for our 2022 celebrations. At the meeting, we will discuss hosting  a series of smaller on-site events in the Karma parking lot as well as a larger event. This first meeting will be via zoom, and all members are welcome to attend. To connect with either Committee Liaison, please email board@karmacoop.org
